Description
The Water Filter product is a disposable filter unit designed to recover and culture microorganisms from potable water, process water, and other aqueous samples. It will convert into its own Petri dish after filtration, or the membrane can be easily removed and cultured in a separate petri dish or on an agar plate.
The Water Filter is ideal for use with the UltraClean® Water DNA Isolation Kit without filters. It is used to capture microorganisms from the water sample. The filter is removed and then processed to extract genomic DNA from the attached microorganisms.
