International Space Station, Altitude of 250 Statute Miles Orbiting the Earth

UltraClean® Microbial DNA Isolation Kit was used on the International Space Station (ISS) in a study designed to provide a baseline of microbial characterization onboard the ISS during the initial stages of construction and habitation. The  UltraClean® Microbial DNA Isolation Kit was used to isolate genomic DNA from microbial isolates obtained on the ISS.
