***Sales Representative Midwest (St. Louis or Houston based)- LIFE SCIENCE REAGENTS/KITS/CONSUMABLES***

Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement and monitor a business sales plan for a territory and account-specific sales plan for major accounts which includes sales goals, strategies and tactics
- Execution of plan to meet assigned sales quotas
- Develop, expand, and maintain good working relationships with accounts in the territory including universities, industrial accounts, research institutes and government accounts and work continuously to expand customer base
- Effectively prospect and generate new customer leads
- Identify and support new business opportunities that includes potential bulk and OEM deals
- Partner cross-functionally across company to appropriately address the needs of customer base
- Provide regular feedback about account development, sales growth, campaigns and competitive information to Sales team, Marketing, Product Development, and other groups as necessary.
- Utilize and maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with appropriate contacts, opportunities, sales histories and other pertinent information
- Organize and deliver technical/scientific seminars and presentations on company products and their capabilities
- Participate in training programs and sales meetings at headquarters and other regions as needed
- Responsible for establishing relationships with distributor sales representatives and their training and motivation to maintain and grow shared business
- Attend local and national tradeshows

Position Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in the life science industry, including 3 years of proven sales experience
- Advanced degree in the life sciences required
- In-depth knowledge of molecular biology and/or microbiology required
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are critical
- Highly self-motivated, adaptable and independent
- Work remotely, out of a home office
- Position requires approximately 35-40% overnight travel

***QC/QA Manager***

MO BIO Laboratories, Inc., develops and manufactures innovative products for life science research, environmental biology, and molecular diagnostics with a focus and world leading expertise in technologies for nucleic acid purification and isolation. Our company is headquartered in Carlsbad, California near the San Diego Biotech Corridor.

We are seeking an experienced QC/QA manager to work at our Carlsbad office. The preferred candidate has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the QC/QA department in a life sciences company working with molecular biology reagents and consumables.

- Prior experience managing people is required.
- Responsibilities include managing scientists performing QC testing, creating and maintaining SOPs and QC documents, generation of MSDSs and Certificates of Analysis, and quality tracking including tracking of reported problems and their resolution.
- Experience in preparing a company for ISO inspection and compliance is desired.

This position requires a person with a positive, proactive attitude who works well with others and can also work independently.
