The chemical or microbiological analysis of a solid sample requires blending and homogenization with a diluent. BagFilter® and BagPage® are utilize integrated filters to reduce analysis time in homogenization. Preparation of filtrates for microbiological analysis: why must you use BagFilter® filter bags?
BagPage® and BagFilter® filter bags are used to dilute, blend and automatically filtrate any solid sample for microbiological or chemical analysis.
Just place the sample and the diluent in a BagPage® or BagFilter® filter bag, and insert the bag into a BagMixer® paddle blender.
In the filter bag, the sample is blended and homogenized by the alternate movement of the paddles. Utilizing the integrated filter, filtration is automatic. The filtrate behind the filter is free of waste and fibers, held by the filter, without any bacterial retention or cross-contamination.
These single-use sterile filter bags allow you to decrease analysis time safely, eliminating the possibilty for exogeneous contamination or cross-contamination. No cleaning is needed. The use of filter-bags for the preparation of solid samples is the most reliable and most economical method to prepare your samples.
